How do we repair your windscreen?

If the damage on your windscreen is small enough, we will do our best to repair it. The first step is that our qualified technician will clear all the debris from the crater. The crater is then opened up using a precision drill. Following this, an acrylic resin is injected into the area of the damaged glass. This is then treated with a UV light and a vacuum to ensure the resin spreads and fills the rest of the damaged area. This ensures the strength is restored and provides the reassurance that the windscreen will react in a collision the way the original glass was intended.

AVG Windscreens only works with Esprit, the pioneers of the windscreen repair industry, and carry out all their work in accordance with the British Standard Code of Practice BS AU 242a:1998. What this means in practice is that with AVG Windscreens, you can trust that you are in safe hands.
